Been sewing for years but this is my first attempt at quilting. Tired of all my thread spools getting messed up so I asked my Dad to make a spool holder. He did a great job, he made it out of cedar and it holds 60 spools. Now I can easily find the color I need. He also made me this ruler holder.

How wonderful those men can be in helping their women out!
Great skills. My DH made me number of things to help out with my quilts and I know he enjoyed it. Everything from quilt racks to thread holders. I think your dad done a beautiful job!
