Default Before and after of my quilting corner

Ladies I've been away for a little over a year and haven't really worked on any quilts but I did tidy up and organize my little hidden away quilting corner. I didn't have much of a stash but I gave it to charity and decided to buy fabric for each project only. I have some charm packs for a table cloth I started. Anyway I'm not sure what to call this it's more like a quilting closet because it just houses supplies when I do work on a project I do it at the table in front of the screen. The screen you'll be looking at is in front of two free standing cabinets that stand next to the door to the garage. Behind those cabinets is an area for storage next to the sliding glass door, that goes to the patio. Needless to say I had a mess back there because I stored other items but I finally got it organized.

I love you room divider is nice and the greenery on top makes a nice touch. Very organized area. Noticed the TP it's always nice to have close, kinda makes it a multi-purpose room. LOL

I charmingly call my area my "quilting nook." A dedicated sewing area is a plus no matter what size it is. Your area looks nice, neat and handy. Have fun in your corner!

My sewing spot in my bedroom has evolved to my bed in the sewing room. LOL....Love the idea of the mesh storage thingee for the thread. I hate rummaging around in a box, bin or drawer (whatever) to find the right color. Where did you get it?

I got it at a store called BIG LOTS, there are two but I think the photo only shows one. They're over the door pocket organizers. They were $6.00 each so I couldn't pass them up.
