Becky's Craft-love your set-up-I see we have the same bird/jungle fabrics-love your wooden thread chest. I bow to anyone that set up & sew in very small areas...I would have a really hard with it.

Okay, I no longer have a camper, but a cute/funny story. My husband and I were driving on a road trip in our car, when I saw a motorhome next to us. The woman in the passenger seat had a small sewing machine and she was SEWING while her husband was driving. I about lost it I was geeking out so much. Needless to say, when we pulled into a gas station and saw them, I had to go over. She invited me in and I couldn't believe how well organized she had her sewing stuff. She said she gets lots of looks while doing it in the coach, but I was just so impressed. Oh...her seams are still MUCH better than mine. Even while she was moving!
That is dedication!!

I wish I knew the name, but I don't remember. It is just a really lightweight white chair with a fabric mesh seat and back, also white. It isn't a sturdy chair that I would want to use for hours and hours though.

We removed the couch from our trailer. So I sew looking out the back window. Stops people from wanting to stay overnight. If we have grandkids or something we will get an air mattress.

I have seen those coffee tables and wondered if they'd hold the weight of a light wt. sewing machine and be large enough. It looks like there is a little storage underneath too. Thanks for confirming it can be done.

Quilterfay, that's not a bad idea. But, I kinda like a couch, however; if I had to choose, I might give it up. LOL

I had boxes that I cut handle holes in, full of material and slipped those under couch. I kept sewing machine under bed.
I sewed at the chair with the small table that held my machine or at the kitchen table sometimes. Worked well for me.
