I clean and organize when I feel blocked. Otherwise I enjoy the creative mess.

LOL...I agree, and I would rather be sewing than cleaning, but I work best with less clutter, so I pick up between projects and clean when my sewing appetite is full.

I clean my sewing room more than any other room in my house! I can not work in a mess, so have to keep every thing nice and neat. Its a daily thing.

And why would he think there is candy in your sewing room? Be the last place I would keep it because it attracts mice and ants and flies.

Simply put, not as often as the rest of the house gets cleaned. My dh does most of the cleaning in our home, with the exception of my sewing studio. He dusts once a week. I dust about once every 10 days. It's not pretty. I swear one of these days one of those dust bunnies is going to attack our 5 lb dog and win! Scary to see what I pick up. If I've been sewing, dust grows like weeds on steroids!!!

Smile I love a clean sewing room

I vaccum regularly my sewing room (at least 3 times a week) when I do my regular cleaning... I pick up and organize after each project segment is completed.. easily to go back to project if it is in some kind of order, also easier to remember where to begin again.
