Default Empty Colorful Vitamin Bottles

I just cannot throw them out. Deep orange, cobalt blue, and emerald green. I already have a jar for bobbins. I have a storage tube for needles. What can I use these for?

You could "recycle" them by making the "Quilter's Medicine" . Fill with M&M's and print a label with the poem. I saw it on here somewhere. But didn't write it down.

My pharmacy give 2cents a bottle credit. Lynnie you could have $5 year in savings! Enough to buy a rotary blade I guess. LOL

The small amber bottles would make great hand sewing needle holders...I'm trying to finish a plastic container of toothpicks for that purpose cuz the lid has the holes in it, so I can shake out one needle at a time.

Also thought of buttons, you could put each color button in the same color container.

I checked w/my pharmacy to see if they would take them back to recycle but they don't. I feel bad throwing them away but can't keep saving them for no reason. I do use one for old/dull/broken needles & pins. When it's full I just throw the whole bottle away.

I like to throw one in the bottom of my purse with bandaids in it. Great for storing safety pins in. Take along sewing kit in your work bag.

One of the pharmacies we use recycles them. You could check. We also donate them to a school organization that allows teachers to come get them for art projects or math or whatever.

Sorry Toverly, but DO NOT put candy in medicine bottles. EVER I think you can figure out why.

I just put them in the recycle container for pickup when they collect the recycle bins. Mine are all amber. I do use one for used rotary blades and another for used needles.
