Finally a closet to be proud of!

This has been a long time coming. Believe me the BEFORE pics were too scary to show. FYI - the top shelf is not done. Closet is 48" wide by 24" deep. The first pic is an overall view (the shelves and doors are NOT bowed - optical illusion). The second and third are my ruler organization on pegboard. The fourth is a close-up of the fabric color coordinated. The last is rolling shelves that fit inside and can be moved out. The cabinet you see to the right is a lawyer's bookcase that has three shelves of color coordinated batiks. One row of novelty and one row black and white.

I love it, Joyce! It's an "eye candy store" that I'd want to shop in every day! Someone likes red!

I would be so honored and amused if you'd show those scary "before" pictures, though. We feel your pain, though, about not wanting to. You gotta know you have kindred spirit here, though. Your pictures would make some feel great about their own closet, or inspire others with your humility

Congratulations on your glorious closet. Bet you don't want to close the doors now.

Awesome - I would just like to sit and stare at it for a few hours. At my house, it would never look that good again.

Great grab of space and I love the idea of peg board on the closet doors. You must be delighted.

Your own mini fabric store!! You have really done something wonderful. I particularly like your ruler storage. I like having tools out where I can see them, but I don't want them in the way of anything else. Congratulations!!
Sometimes I try to act "normal," but it gets boring so I just go back to being myself.
