You can put larger pieces of fabric in the towers. I folded these using the ruler that I use with my cutting board to get the right width, then folded that into 4ths. You just have to be willing to fold it that small. If you notice the top 4 fabrics in the middle tower, they are each 1 yard pieces. They do take up more room. I put my bigger pieces in a wire drawer in my closet. Most of my big pieces are in 2 gallon plastic bags with other fabrics for a specific project. The CD towers are not original to me. I think I saw them on Pinterest or maybe on Google Images when I entered sewing room ideas.
It is so much fun to make a space your own.

IKEA!!! The best place for all my quilting furniture needs - I'm so glad it's finally catching on!! Your room is so welcoming and comforting.....looks like a magazine lay-out! You did a beautiful job!
