I use command hooks and store my rulers on the back of my sewing room door, works great..they hold 2-3 rulers on each hook..keeps them out of my way, and safe from falling..

I use a metal ring used for hanging scarves. The rulers have a hole in them and with the carabiner style opening, I just slip them on the ring and hang it in my closet. I just flip the ruler I want to use to the opening and remove. Tada! All in one place and doesn’t take much space.
