I am 5'3"-5"4". I found out a 36" table is too tall for me. Fortunately mine is adjustable and I found the 32" setting is just right.

I'm 5'8", and my cutting table is 35". I would like it to be a little taller, but its what I have. LOL It works for me. If I have a lot of cutting, I sometimes cut on the kitchen island.

I am 5'5" and my cutting and ironing table is 38" high. All my height is in my legs, though.

I always wondered this myself too, so thanks for thinking of the thread. I know I just took a class and their table was 32 inches high and it was perfect for me at 5ft 2.

Ergonomically speaking, the best height is two inches below your elbow when standing at the table.

I am 5'7" and my table is 36". I purchased my table from a LQS that went out of business. She sold all the furniture in there so I have her cutting table. It was 8' long but that was too big for my room so my DH cut about 3' off . Then he cut a hole in one end and made a platform to set my sewing machine in. So now when I do a quilt I have all this space for my quilt to be on instead of laying on the floor.

I am 5'4" and my cutting table is 37" the same height as my kitchen island. I found this to be a perfect height for me.
