I have a similar multi-quilt rack ... three levels of rods.
Had it made to fit the space between a window and a corner in my bedroom.
This way I get to admire my work first thing in the morning and last thing at night!!!
The lower rod holds the quilts that I use periodically in my bedroom.
The upper ones tend to just hang for show ... though easily removed if/when needed.

If you are making one ... it's best to have each lower rod come into the room a little further, to allow for the bulk of the quilts that are hung.

I wonder how heavy the quilts are on this wall. How would this be placed on a wall? I can hear my hubby.

Love the idea.
