Kitchen cart for cutting area

This is one subject I always keep an eye on. My main thing is, do you fit comfortably alongside that setup with all the drawers. If there is no overhang I can't imagine having my knees comfortable if right against the setup. Am I being silly?

I bought the one from JoAnns a few years back but had to remove the side unit because the screw holes were not properly placed and the wood split when attempting to attach to the main unit. This item was poorly made. I did keep the main larger section, but even that one was a disappointment. The drawers are very shallow (plenty of room behind them) and not of much use. I didn't return it because I would have had to dismantle the entire unit and try to get the pieces back into the original box. Just using the top area, which is a nice size, but I was still left to find a space for my serger which I had planned to keep on the side unit.
