Default Mini Bolts or FQ Storage

Could you please provide a name or link (even better!) of the comic boards you use for FQ storage? I understand there are ones that would work especially well because of the size... Also, do you press your FQ before folding them onto the boards? Thanks!

I use the Mini-bolts sold thru paperpieces.com. I think they used to be called Polar Notions, but now, they are under Mini-bolts. I love them....have purchased the ones for Fat quarters and also ones for larger yardage. They are more plastic than hard cardboard.

If there is a local comic book collector's shop in your town, you can buy them there. They are about $10 per hundred.

I just get the regular sized ones and use them for yardage as well as for fat quarters. I cut them to a size that will fit in the drawers where I store my fabric.

The Magazine boards are a bit larger which I use for larger pieces of fabric. I use plastic coated paper clips that I get at Dollar Tree to hold the fabric on the bolt. I am working on getting all of my fabric organized with them. It is so much easier to see what I have instead of being stacked. Right now while I am still working on it I am putting the mini bolts in boxes until I get the shelves cleared enough to stack them there. I get the boards on Amazon.

Thank you everyone for your responses. What size are your pieces of boards?

I have looked for the mini bolts but just can't seem to find them! I bought a cardboard panel at the dollar store and cut it to the size of my shelves. Normally I just use the bolts from Joann and cut them to size but forgot to ask for some last time I was there.

Here you go, best price I've found. Any where else they're called comic book boards.
