Very, very nice. I've never been to an Ikea store. Might have to remedy that the next time I'm in a large city.

Belfrybat, neither have I. The closest one to me is 2.5 hours away and I may go end of July there with my dd. I hear they have great items at considerable prices and even a clearance section so who know what I may find.

I'm green with envy. I still haven't given up on this idea but maybe there is a reason I haven't made one yet - your friend's version is even better than the one on the Ikea hackers site. Lucky, lucky you. Enjoy your fabulous table and Happy Quilting.

Looks awesome! Know the functionality will be equally as great! I have chubby/ shelves dh has put together for me, I haven't been sure exactly how I wanted mine built.. I am going to show him yours...
