Default My happy place...(picture heavy)

We moved to this house 20 months ago. I posted pics and promised to show the room after a year. I forgot until a new thread was posted this week. I have changed some things and love the space even more. Yes, it is always this clean. I straighted every time I leave. I actually quilted in it all day today.

The quilt about the cabinet was made by my late aunt. The pie safe was a bd gift from my dh. The plastic storage holds fq, jelly rolls, quilt leftovers and scraps. The treadle belonged to my dh's family and was left to me by my mil.
The rocker belonged to my dh's grandma and that is where she sat to do her hand quilting. I have special memories in that room and a great space to enjoy what I love...thus, my happy place.

Wonderful! Fabulous! Good use of Longaberger baskets too! I love that pie safe with the punched panels. Is that an old piece? Are the punched panels original? They look so great!

Beautiful space.

No the pie safe is not old. It was a kit. DH put it together and moved all my books and stuff as part of my gift. It looks awesome.
