What a GREAT idea. I would never have thought of it. Lucky you. You could probably use the bed risers to raise the hutch to the correct height.

great idea. In fact I have just used the same idea only for a television stand. I am going to fix the drawers to have drop down fronts to put the dvd player in and the rest of the drawers will be for the dvd's.. I love mine yours looks great too.

Very nice I'm also going to be updating my ironing board. I don't have a cat to knock it over but my big board is making my current ironing board a bit unsteady... I have been on the lookout for a similar piece of furniture to convert...

Very nice - and I agree - storage underneath is a wonderful thing!
