You are brilliant. It's a beautiful, sturdy and useful table. And at 33 inches high it should work very well for cutting.

Looks great, will work wonderful I am sure. Second thought you could take ironing board off top and use for cutting with a cutting mat. Then could iron or cut or measure. I like your thinking.
Going back through posted items I see someone else already had the idea.

That's wonderful! Does it have drawers too? I want one!! I just looked up Harbor Freight and there is one in the next city. Does it come already assembled?

If my sewing room could have accommodated it, I'd have one too. Just not enough wall space with 3 machines. As it is, Steve made me a quilters ironing board (25 x 65) for Christmas. Love it.
