Love your choice of colors! My son moved out 2 weeks ago started the re-design and I painted mine a very similar color...I'll post pics when I'm done!

All is so great. Your son loves you dearly; well done. However, I would make one drastic change and that is the stool you sit on to sew. Honey that is not good at all. You need something that can support your back as well. Whoops I am not telling you what to do sorry! Its just a heads up.

I love the idea of a stool for your sewing area. I may get one now.

The stool is just temporary until my new drafting chair arrives and I got a msg that it has shipped. The height is adjustable and it has a comfy looking back. Thanks for your concern Though!

Very nice spot to sew and it looks like a great place to create in.

KathyKat, you've raised my curiosity. On your sewing machine, what is the purpose of the safety pin taped to your machine. I can see it is a "thread guide" but do you only use it with larger spools of thread?
