Fab-u-lous .... both of the pieces! I am going to show the ruler holder to my local woodman (my dh) as this would make a great Christmas gift. You did a nice job on these. My Dad was a carpenter and would have loved them. Thanks for showing them.

That is a great idea to use the dead space above the railing, love that ruler rack. You are very talented and creative. Going up is a very good idea. Beautiful quilts also. You have some terriffic ideas. Thanks for showing us.

Just yesterday I was on "youtube" and saw your video of sewing/quilting room tour. Of course, I recognized the beautiful railing and ruler rack, so I knew it was your video. Your quilts are beautiful, and how nice to have a partner who is also an artisan in carpentry.

Love them both. I can't imagine that I could make either one. It appears that the arms on the quilt rack swing out. That's pretty impressive! Great job!
