Wow! I go to my favorite quilting shop in town and it looks like your pic! She lets you go behind the counter and rummage till your hearts content and I find the best stuff in all her mess... the rest of her shop is organized but I like the clutter around the cutting table. I guess I'm like a lot of you, I seem to get more done in a cluttered mess, and I find things easier than if I put everything away after every project.

Forgot to get pic of other wall.....Nothing special just a wall with Tables & Sewing Machines & Serger.

Ok Ladies...Fess up with your Organized Chaos!

Don't all those piles in front of your nicely organized shelves just drive you nuts? Mine do, I swear I will never do it again as soon as I get the piles off the floor, it never lasts for more then a day or two. When I do get around to seeing the fabric on the shelf again it feels brand new!

Ok. You win. You have more fabric than I do. I'm ok with that though. I organized my stash last August. I had surgery and had the time to re-organize. It took me a whole day to organize my cabinet. I've kept it neat since then. It really made me aware of all that I did have. I've been working on de-stashing since then. Of course, I've still bought a smidge of material since then, but I like to think that I've used more than I've brought in though. ...Probably not!

yes, i 2nd that. you win. you have more material than i do. but i do have tubs of nurses uniform supply fabric, i bought back when. but thx to this board, i put my material on 6 x 11 inc boards and 4 x 6 inch boards last winter. but then i started adding to my stash, 'cause the prices will do nothing but go up'. so i have fat 1/4's galore, but standing up nicely on their own, without being on boards. might get you all pic's.

i sure wish i would run into someone's stash like yours, that was liquidating.

My studio( son's old room )( he has moved back home ) has been moved to the bonus room no closets to use for storage, no way to close the door so I can be alone , , and since than I have not been able to get it together!
I have tried since christmas to get this room workable!
Biglots has the 5 drawer orginizers on sale this week for $24.00 , so I have gotten a couple of them to try and help with my new space, I just don't feel it !
I have projects due for birthdays and new babies in the family !
I am sitting in the middle of a mess just looking around and wondering were to even start !
Yes and my mess looks worse than the photos that have been posted !
