I had one that I used for my marking tools, smaller rulers, embellishments, rotary cutters, etc. each had its own drawer. I replaced it with a unit that has deeper drawers. Guess what, it's harder to find stuff now because each item no longer has its dedicated drawer. Live and learn.

You can get a really nice office chair at Staples (or another office supply). Lots of sales and clearance. Just make sure it's adjustable and has no arms or removable arms.

I have 2 of those carts and really like them. The one in my sewing room is used for patterns, misc. books I want to hold on to. The other one is just inside of my bedroom closet, next to my bathroom, where I store my brushes, hair dryer (on top) and my makeup items. I solved the problem of the shallow drawers by taking a drawer out above the one where I store the taller items. I really like the idea of using the command strips to hang some of my rulers nt he cart in the sewing room.

Thanks to everyone. I didn't think about thread or embroidery floss storage but what great ideas. I also like the idea about the command strips as I have large rulers that won't fit in the drawers. You guys are great and so creative!

I bought one and I love it. I keep my scissors, presser feet, threads, blades, even my gloves for quilting, etc. I labeled each drawer and now I know where everything is. Everything fits in there just fine. I even keep some of my fat quarters in it.
I love it, My drawers are clear. When I first bought it, the drawers were not sliding out that good, but in a couple times opening and closing them, they work fine.

I bought two carts, with wheels and three large drawers from WalMart for under $30 total. Found them on the web and they were delivered to the store, no shipping. They are great, and hold a lot. My granddaughter uses one for her craft supplies and I use mine (had to give her one, of course) for fabric.

I have one for my rayon emb thread. Since I separate mine by color most of the drawers match the thread so it's easy to see which drawer has what. perfect size for reqular size spools

I have one with clear drawers that I purchased at Sam's. Keep it near my cutting table and use the drawers for different size strips. When I need a particular size they are easy to find and see. Love it!

I have one of the 10 drawer carts. Really disappointed in the quality. I have scrapbook supplies in it ... no matter what I do it remains wobbly

I have one with 20 drawers that I keep scrapbook stamps, knitting needles, and crochet hooks in. I discovered I had a couple of empty drawers I it and am using it for sample blocks I make before deciding if I really like a block enough to make a quilt. I have a silver 5 drawer in between my sewing machine and embroidery machine. The top drawer I keep empty to use for the project I am working on. The second and third drawer have machine feet and other things pertaining to the sewing machines. The bottom deeper drawers have the crochet thread I use for gathering long ruffles, and a UFO that must be finished eventually. With the UFO right beside my machines it does get worked on occasionally.

I had that 10 drawer cart and the drawers would never stay on the tracks. My DH finally wheeled it to the curb so some other person could take it home. I bought sturdier white ones and love them.
