You still have a very nice setup and you say this is only half the area???? Wow!!!!!

Sorry about the flood, but your new space is lovely!

Very nice!

You say that is only half, so when you son moves his stuff out you'll have room for a Long Arm, then you won't have to worry about layering quilts at all :)

What did you use for the ceiling? It really looks nice.

I love those Kallax cubes that's what I used, your sewing tables are to die for

I am looking forward to getting the whole space back.. the half not shown (since it is buried in storage totes) has a table, easy chair, and fireplace and a floor to ceiling storage unit full of fabric. I know it sounds strange but we used vinyl siding on the ceiling, we liked how it looked, it was cost-effective, easy to clean and also easy to remove if we need to get access to the plumbing again. The cutting table we made ourselves and the sewing table is from Koala. We are gone for the winter and I am already missing my sewing room, but the fact that they got about 18 inches of snow today is making it a little easier to stay here and I found a sweet little featherweight to play with while I am away...

Every cloud has a silver lining! Great idea on the choice for ceiling finish. I have unfinished ceilings in my basement...this may be a good choice for me as well.
