Bolt covers

I have quite a collection of bolts and won’t be using them all right away. I’d like to cover them in plastic or something. Maybe I just need some clear plastic sheeting then wrap them up. Does anyone have any ideas to keep the fabric covered? I don’t have a spare closet. Wondering what others do with bolts. Thanks for the help.

What did you use for plastic? Clear garbage bags and tape or clear plastic sheeting maybe from Home Depot our Harbor Freight?

I think I would put them in pillowcases.

Pillow cases to store your bolts in is a great idea. I store my finished quilts in pillow cases all the time

I would clear plastic wrapped around once and taped. Then you be able to see the color. I would not use pillow cases. You would have to pull bolts out to see what they go with.

I have 60+ partial bolts sitting on the floor so threw a table cloth over them to keep dust and the kitties's hair off them. Seems to do the trick for now. Just wish I could keep the kitties off them entirely.
