Thanks for sharing. What an interesting idea.

I have 2 of them. I clip all of my quilt patterns on them so I don't have to rummage through drawers to find them.

The shipping is crazy.

Now the big question at my house: How much total weight will the arm hold? I don't need it to the half ounce, but a ball park idea would be comforting.

This kind of idea is marvelous in my sewing room and really gets used, hence the above question. Having it come down, bringing a piece of the wall with it, is not a favorite of mine. We will not discuss how I got handy with wet as well as dry walls.

Thanks for the help.

Make sure you mount it to a stud with long screws, that is where you will make a difference. The bar itself looks very sturdy.

I have one with many clips. I use it to hold my small rulers, etc...

LOVE them!

Anyone else seen or used these https://www.clipitup.com/clip-it-up-swinging-wall-arm ? Think it would be great for hanging current strips associated with a project. Especially if it was mounted to the right side on the sewing table.

Look in the plant section at walmart, I have a hanging plant hanger that you can have out or swing to side if not in use, very strong, would hold a good amt weight as long as it is mounted in a stud or with toggles!

If you have one that is not the Clip it Up one (one of the old fashioned kind or one from the kitchen or bathroom section) do regular binder clips fit over the arms to hang things? Would love these but the shipping makes them out of my budget.

You could always go to Walmart and bring everything together to see if it will fit the way you like.

Connecting Threads did have the ones I posted on sale for $11, but I think they sold out. They still have this one though, http://www.connectingthreads.com/too...d__D82066.html

I ordered a couple of each to play with and to get the free shipping. Guess I will have to post pictures when I figure out how to play with them.
