Great job.....

I have book shelves like these. What I did was take out one shelf and take it to Home Depot and have them cut me more shelves and the bought extra pegs to put in the holes. With the shelves close together and more of them you can separate them more into color schemes and it makes them a whole lot easier to get something from the bottom of the stack. I started doing the extra shelves when I used them for books and after awhile the shelves started to sag in the middle so this was my solution to saving the shelves and it also helped when I started getting rid of books and replacing shelves with fabric.

It looks wonderful. All the brights sing to my heart! I itch to pet the fabric.

These look delicious! Great job.
To access one without disturbing the whole stack, someone suggests sliding a long ruler (probably 6x24) just above the one you want before pulling out the fabric. I haven't done it, but have no doubt it works. My stacks of smaller pieces kept coming undone so I put them in clear shoeboxes without lids --on a short backcase. I wrapped another part of my stash (longer pieces) around around foam board (dollar store sells 20x30 that I cut into 4 (9.5x12 ) with some leftover. Line those up like books on another bookcase. Of all the ways I've tried, the book style keeps them the tidiest even though you do waste a bit of space. Good luck--and try that ruler lifting trick. |
Very Nice, sure looks better than mine.
