Made my trip to IKEA Friday. Let the fun begin.

I have never been to IKEA the size scares me a bit. Someday maybe. There is one not to far from here.

I love IKEA's displays, storage ideas, kitchen stuff, etc., but I get claustrophobic when I want to get out. If you can find a salesperson, they know the shortcuts.

This is the beginning.

It will be fun for us to see your progress. I love going to IKEA, though I don't go often. I got 3 Alex drawers on casters from IKEA a few years ago. They fit nicely under the longarm and hold thread and stencils.

Don't forget to bolt that tall cabinet to the wall behind it, as Ikea suggests. Once it's full of fabric and stuff it will be really heavy, and could really hurt you if it fell forward while you were 'digging'.

Ooh what fun, a new organization cabinet. I always feel rejuvenated after reorganizing a part of my sewing space. Your cabinet looks amazing, enjoy.

Off to a great start. I would love to go to Ikea although I don't need anything and have no space for anything.

Once I get the extra stuff put away I think I will enjoy seeing those bins. And since there are 5 PROJECT collection bins I will be reminded to pick from them first when I'm looking for something to do.

Agree! Always good to "see" the work you have done ... and you have progressed well.
Besides, a curtain in front can hide things all too easily.
And is oh such a nuisance when you want to get stuff from behind.
Bonus ... This way you have the extra incentive to keep it all neat and tidy!

Good to see the extra IKEA delivery coming. I saw that tidy stack of boxes, as a mountain that would surely be a landslide. At least in my world it would be!!!

SuzzyQ - looks amazing. Not fun while in progress but very satisfying when finished. I did mine during first phase of Covid and its amazing how much easier it is to find things. I wish you success with finishing the job!
