Organized a bit more.. coming to the realization why do I need more fabric? still have two tupperware tubs full of scraps that are baggied by color.

ready to be moved into sewing room sewing room not ready for the shelves yet.. give me a week or week and half. how nice to see what i have before i go to the store !

If I found a CD organizer.. that would be great for my scraps.. or an old hardward store wood nail unit. still looking to get rid of tupperware and really see what I do have before next trip to store !

Great storage idea. I hadn't thought of that.

Can you put something on top for additional space for cutting or ironing? I love this cabinet. I prefer old over modern any day - great thinking outside of the box! congratulations!!

I've seen wonderful entertainment centers that could be converted to a storage unit in the sewing area. Wood ( I prefer glass) shelving where the big old tv was situated would be really great. And if it had doors there it would even be better. I have my eye on 2 of them in a privately owned little flea market/antique store. These are going to come up in secondary markets by the hundreds when folks switch to flat panels. The good rule is...use what you have or can borrow.
