Look at this cool storage

I was browsing on Craig's list and found this cool storage. If someone has quilts that need to be stored safely, this looks like it would work very well. I surely wouldn't buy it new though. Lol.

"We have a few SAFCO Plan Hold Masterfile2 MF-4836 cabinets available for only $95 each. These blueprint, plan, and map storage lockers retail new for $7383.00 a piece. Yes, you are getting a cabinet in great condition for than 2% of MSRP! Designed to keep papers clean dry and safe, they will work equally well to keep tools, sporting goods, firearms, or any large items safe and out of the open.

They measure 55.5" wide, 21" deep, and 45" tall. The front of the cabinet slides out to allow access to the hanging bars inside. All cabinets have a working lock and key as well. "

Looks like a big chest deep freeze with rods across the inside. Non working chest freezer are free and will do the same thing with dry goods. Many living rural use them for storage in the cellar or barn.

I saw this before somewhere. It would be a great storage option for quilts but it looks so heavy and that might be the only drawback.

Mindless, those are some cool ideas!

Gramma Nancy, no way I'd spend 7k for that but if I had some precious quilts that needed safe storage, and had the space, for $95 it might be worth it. As others mentioned, an old chest freezer would work too. And can't beat free! Lol

I know a guy who keeps his valuable sports trading card collection in an old chest freezer.
