My new design wall
If found 2 cubicle walls at a yardsale for $10. I do have to use pins but thats OK by me. They are very light weight and only take up a couple of inches against the wall.

Great idea!!! Could you cover it with flannel or something similar and then not use pins?
|
By the way, I love your blocks!!!

Great find!

Great find! Bet you could drape a big piece of batting over the cubicles to experiment. It works great for holding blocks in place. Your blocks are gorgeous!

Great find!

Great Idea, Great find.

Nice design wall and beautiful blocks, too.
|
Makes me want to go scout out used office furniture places!!
|
Great thinking outside the box when looking at things. No doubt you will get a ton of use out of it!

Looks great! Often it isn't so much finding the design wall but finding "space' for the design wall. Mine is portable. I have no choice but to make it portable. It's whatever works and yours looks like it works for you. Great blocks by the way!

Great find for a design wall. But, oh those beautiful blocks really got my attention!!! They are beautiful. Can't wait to see it completed.
|
Love your blocks and enjoy your design wall. Like others said you could cover it with flannel, but I still pin to keep things from blowing off.
|
Great 'score'!

Terrific finds, and pretty blocks!
|
Great find & idea! I wished I had room for a design wall but I don't. I always lay them on my island in the kitchen & although it is extra wide it just isn't wide enough. I make do though so all is good!
|
What a great idea! And your blocks are gorgeous!

Very clever! Your quilt blocks are very pretty!
|
Great idea! I see those around every once in a while.
|
Sweet! Having a design wall makes all the difference. Even if the design 'wall' is a floor.
|
I use my bed, already set up and the largest space I have.
Yours looks great and your blocks too. |
Is that your original design board (the blue flannel on the left). I 'designed' a design wall like that, with flannel fabric that I hung on the existing curtain rod. When I need it, I 'open' it up, when I don't need it, I slide it all to one side and it just hangs around out of my way.

great find and great blocks!!
