Thank all for your wonderful comments. I have been keeping my sanity not be able to use that room by looking at all your beautiful creations here on the site. I'v also been searching for patterns. I even bought some fabric yesterday even afer my hubby saying I should not need to buy any fabric for a while...lol. The Ikea shelves is called Expedit and you can add on the desk and door inserts and baskets. Looking at the Crown Jewel now - wish me luck on the purchase.:)

Maybe get a spring type curtain rod and hang some curtains to protect your fabric from the light? I can't tell you how many pieces of fabric I've received from estates etc. that have been ruined by light damage...
