My new sewing room!
1 Attachment(s)
DH finally made me a sewing table as every other table in our house is very tiny. I had no where that I could lay out fabric or just be able to work on my project and leave it for another day every time I had to clean everything up. What a pain. Now this is what I have ;) I was trying last night to figure out storage so I got a bar like you hang your clothes on in the closet mounted it under the table and hung the hanging storage canvas things you see!:p

Very prety, CLEAN, and inviting. I'm back to stepping over things in my room. You inspire me to do something about that. Thanks for sharing

That table looks great! And just the right height.
Your table looks great and the soft storage units will be nice and soft on the knees. I would fasten a piece of peg board on the right side legs for hanging all your rulers and tools on.
Nice room! I don't think my sewing area could ever be that neat. Seriously! LOL
Really nice table, great idea for underneath it, too!
Looks great. I'm just starting the process of organizing... such a daunting task!
Wonderful table, really clever storage under it! Nice space to use all around.
Nice area, I love all the natural light you get.
Love your sewing table he did a great job making it , your sewing area looks so inviting.
For storage you could even put up some shelves on the wall in front of your table there. |
Thanks for sharing with us. I can barely walk around in mine at the moment! I just finished making a graduation quilt; making a set of seasonal potholders for a friend at church for her 81st birthday; have started putting the blocks together for a state bird quilt for my sister; working on a rag quilt for my son's birthday in September; finishing a chicken scratch quilt that my Mother started before she passed away; a wall hanging for another sister; and now finishing the border for a T-shirt quilt for our Relay team at church. After all this, who cares what the sewing room looks like!?

Nice big table to work on. What a clever idea you came up with for the hanging canvas storage.
very cleaver!
Nice neat sewing room. Happy stitching.
LOVE your hanging rod idea!! You can switch those units around as needed. For me the best part would be that you can just remove them to clean and reorganize them when they need it instead of crawling around on the floor!!! Enjoy!

That's a very unique idea using the canvas organizers... I've never seen that before. It's great!
great sewing space-nice sturdy table
Very nice arrangement.

This is nice! I am so excited to have my 13 year old grandaughter coming to stay a week with me for the first time. She said we could straighten up my den upstairs and sort the fabric and get everything organized. I just bought her a machine for her birthday and of course, the first thing we have to do is sew up all the rips and tears in her jeans!

it's your space thats all that matters
Great table!!!! Wonderful husband!!!!
Very nice. Great idea for storage.
Nice table! And there's plenty of space behind the closet organizers to place big bins filled with stash!
Terrific table, and storage too! Happy sewing!
Great table. Like your storage idea for under it.
Very nice!
Very nice and the extra storage underneath. You can never have enough storage!
Great idea!! I just might steal that idea from you. LOL
