My space

I don;t have as nice of a space as some of you, but I am lucky to have a small bedroom that I can use for sewing (and I put the elliptical in there too, as I am sure as heck not using it in the garage!)

My stash is in bins and boxes on the shelf, and I am using an old desk I had for small cutting and for storing items. I have books and rules on the top, and a small TV to watch when I use the elliptical. I have my scissors and rotary cutters on hooks in the cork board in the main desk cubby.

I have a folding table for my machine and use a folding table for big cutting projects (I rearrange with another table to FMQ).

Looks like you have carved out a nice spot for yourself!! And so neat and tidy!

My husband added really strong casters on a rolling cart that has all my threads, pins, safety pins and other small flotsam, and I have a scrap bin (which is full! I need to get going on a scrappy quilt!) on top, and I can roll it to wherever is convenient to have it.

Only because I just had house guests so I had to clean it up, lol!

I have the same amount of space to use as you, and I love the color of the walls! Is that a pumpkin color?

It looks great, it is not the size that matters! It just matters that you enjoy your space and can be creative in it.

annthreecats 01-30-2012 10:52 AM

That's a neat space for a small bedroom. Looks like you take advantage of every vertical inch. Nice.

Nice space, love all your usable surfaces for cutting/sewing/piecing.

It is a lot bigger space than I have. LOL I can barely walk in mine but I am thankful for what I have. Your space is very nice.

Haha! Its the stuff, isn't it! Thanks for the compliments, my apologies for the weird double posts and twice posted pictures. My computer was being weird.

I also have a tiny space, like yours and often envy the beautiful spaces others have, but I do love my little quilting world and have all that I need. I am fortunate to have a nice storage room with shelves for my fabrics.
