My Special Quilting Romm

Hope you aren't disappointed. Just to show that quilting can be a rather simple thing. I just got my furniture reupholstered and so the sewing/TV/room is better looking than it was. I do have my sewing machine in a room in the basement but I try to not go there except for sewing backing together and binding.

A comfortable chair with good lighting makes a great spot for sewing.

Looks very cozy. Do you hand piece your entire tops and hand quilt? I'm impressed! Yes, quilting doesn't need to be complicated and take up half the house:) I only have a writing desk in the living room for my machine and a untility shelf in the laundry room for my supplies. It works, and I like sewing where the family interact with me while I sew.

You have a great place to do your handiwork! Sometimes "less is more" ... the "KISS principle".

A very comfy looking chair, good lighting, a table to set your supplies on, and a TV to watch while you quilt. Simple can be effective!

Very cozy. End tables are never quite big enough are they?

Lovely.....looks a very peaceful room.

Cozy setup!!

I would have liked to "KISS" ed it. but got shoved into another room and it morphed like gremlins. I love that you are able to interact with family and have such good lighting.

Nice upholstery job. New cushions too? I hate to part with good chairs. Too often, these new chairs are way too big.
