New Ironing Board with New Cover
1 Attachment(s)
My old ironing board sat on my ironing board. I bought a long dresser and put it on it, but it was too short and barely wide enough. My husband cut a piece of plywood to the correct size and put pieces of wood underneath on each side and top and bottom so it wouldn't move around. We put this pretty (might not look it in the picture) pink fabric on top of batting and stapled it down. Now I finally have lots of room for ironing. Thanks for looking! Excuse the mess.

Very nice, what mess? isn't that the way all sewing rooms look??? (mines worse if it makes you feel better...LOL)

Looks great! I sense a theme for the start of 2014, a new ironing surface.:)

Great job!!

Good golly, that's not a mess, lol. Love the new board, it'll be so nice to have a large space for ironing larger pieces or tops.

I have a separate board and a dresser, it needs to have the top cleared, and put my board on it. Looks good and I only see a wonderful collection of fabric--no mess.
