Is there a 4-H near you, they are sometimes looking for donated fabric.

Have you tried contacting any Guilds in your area? Ours took scraps and fabrics donated to nearby prison groups that made various community projects, like pet beds for shelters and kennels...might also try handicapped organizations in your area..it's a great therapy hobby to learn to quilt.

There are so many places to donate fabrics to for quilts for charity. Project Linus, I give boxes of it to them. You can post on here to give away to people that make for charities. There is a site that is a new start for selling fabrics and is easy to use Myqfe.com, Ebay, Etsy if you want to sell. Just have fun. My girls don't sew either, pooh.

Local Lutheran churches make quilts for "world Relief" and for the contact centers and women shelters.

Hi! I'm from Howell also...it seems like sountry stitches in east Lansing used to take donated fabric for charity quilts. I'm not sure if it's all the time or just certain dates. Did you check with the Sticthery? I went to a church sale here they bundled diff fabrics and sold pretty cheap, and got rid of it. Hope some one here can help.
