Great looking shelf unit! You do nice work!

Very nice cabinet, Lloyd. I'm wondering how the dowels come out so that someone can put the ribbons on it.

Some suggestions: You might consider making a few free-standing cabinets for those who don't want the cabinet on the wall. And consider making them in different sizes so that we'd have options. And yes, I'd buy one!

Another idea Lloyd: they would make great cabinets for gift wrap ribbon, so keep that in mind when you set up displays of how the cabinet can be used.....display one with curling ribbon and gift wrap ribbons.

Welcome to our corner of the world which you are now a part of. Your ribbon holder is really cool. My only ? is how do you load the spools onto the dowels? silly me!
peace

guessing the dowels slide out ladies. slide to the left and put on or take off the spools and slip the dowel right back into the hole it came out of. made one for my daughter from her existing shelf. aka-drilled holes and sanded em, hehe didn't actually MAKE the nice rack LLoyd did.

what a great cabinet. it would hang proudly in any quilt room or also great for people who do gift baskets as a business. It's gorgeous. looks like you have a lot of people interested already.

Great idea. And from what I can tell, your craftsmanship looks wonderful (by the way, I too am wondering how the dowels come out to load and unload the ribbon spools).
