Scraps were out of control

I'll be moving to a space about half the size of what I have now. Moving fabric seems overwhelming. I started with the Scraps Dumping Ground aka the dining table. I've been storing it for my DGD so I started there. I inherited this beautiful dresser from my Dear Aunt and Best Friend. So the scraps were sorted by color and are now in order in the drawers. It will have to be in my living room at the new place. You can't see it behind the messy table top, but the entire space behind the table was piled with batting pieces to sew together. I think I can quilt 6-8 quilts with it LOL. That will find a new home in the storage closet.

I'm gathering the UFOs on the cutting table. I really need to attack those soon.

Scraps are multiplying faster than I can sew for me too! I need to organize! Congrats for conquering yours and using such a lovely chest of drawers!

Looks good--and bet it feels even better! You've been very productive. Keep at it. You can do this.

Well Done. I "attempt" scrap management at least once a month. That way I can sort for various groups and the Guild. My friends are very generous.

Such good organization skills at work! Yay! Love seeing the progress. That dresser is the bee’s knees. What is the pull out part at that is at the bottom of the top section? Looks interesting. Keep on organizing...you’re really on your way!

I'm laughing here as I see those scraps peeking out of the drawers like little rabbits waiting to multiply! Seriously though it's a beautiful piece of furniture.

Have you thought of the big ziplock bags to store the batting in until you need to use it...it would help save space in your smaller area.

It takes a lot of effort to stay organized! or the get re-organized. Sometimes a move is a great motivator. I like your chest of drawers. We have one just like it that was purchased the first year we were married- 51 years ago. I still love our colonial maple furniture.
