Beautiful. I love things made of cedar.
does it harm the thread storing it out like that on thread holders??? I recently got one gifted to me
Makes taking care of things easier!!
Do you think your Dad would adopt me?
Can I borrow your dad
Very nice and what a treasure! I have several things my dad made for me over the years and they are very precious to me.
do you cover the spools to keep them from fading and getting dusty

Very nice work..... It will be such a treasure knowing he made it! My Dad did a lot of wood work too. I still have a lot of his things... 2 cedar chests (1 made for my Mom: she's in nursing home, 1 that was my MamMaw's, 2 heart shaped spool holder(I found 1 in my son's garage, so I just brought it home (don't think it was missed) , a paper towel holder, TP hold (in shape of outhouse), a paper plate holder, 2 end tables, a gossip bench. Seems younger generation don't appreciate these things. He made my S & D, when they married a potato bin, paper towel holder, paper plate holder that they don't use. Guess they think they're out dated?.. One day tho.....
