I can see that you've already gotten your wardrobe. It looks like a beautiful storage space!
there's also this kangaroo sewing cabinet that I had and a big koala sewing cabinet. The larger one I use as my cutting station with a pretty big cutting mat left to set up on it. Then I sew on the smaller one.
but now I just ordered a small kangaroo cabinet and a Joey cupboard. Those two I purchased from https://www.office-furniture.com.au/ (the address where I ordered my first 2 cabinets) for about $170. just waiting for the arrival of the furniture so I can set up my workspace. you can even say I'm lucky for buying these kinds of stuff at an inexpensive price.

Interesting you link to an Australian site, yet your profile says you are in the US. Also I searched the site for sewing, kangaroo, joey each separately and there is nothing on that site for any of those search terms.

I’m trying to figure out the surface dimensions I’d need to construct a quilt. We’re using king as the barometer to guarantee it can be laid flat and not placed on the wall.

Size wise what am I looking at? Thanks!

SarahBethie ... your question is similar to your earlier thread.
Perhaps you lost track of it? Perhaps the answers are there?

Thank you for the link. I recall the previous thread. But I don’t require a workspace. I have one. This is a standalone piece for cutting and drafting. I’m confirming dimensions because I’ve seen various numbers elsewhere.

One site said 110x110 and another 108x95. A third cites a number and a second with pillow tuck allowance. If I round up from the largest of the bunch I’d get 120x120.

I’d go with the 120 x 120 just for the fact that a little extra space to spread out is sometimes needed if u had a way to have piano hinge on to drop side down if not needed would be nice n to have it on two sides even better Most of the time u won’t need that big space but when u do it’s a sure fire thing that there’s no running after other tables or desks to make it bigger

Thank you Amy. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/boy.gif

We were nearing completion when the pandemic hit and the facility closed. The cabinet was there for a year. Since I have a sewing desk we’re reconfiguring the specs. The base will be 80x80 with extensions on each side to accommodate the size I want. That keeps things manageable and avoids a seam down the center.
