I need to buy a few more white shelves, make curtains for around the white table. I would love to do something with that mulitcolor self/boxes. I have the way it looks but its great for holding cut pieces. Need to buy a curtain rod to hold up my template, cutting mats and the buckets. I bought the wrong size from Ikea. I don't feel like ordering another one. I think I can find one at the store. |
I just love your room!!!! Beautiful...........
It looks wonderful! You have done a great job.

I'm trying--unsuccessfully--not to be jealous. Beautiful work space!
It looks so inviting and comfortable. You're going to love having your own special place to play.
Beautiful space...enjoy every minute of it...I love everything you have on the walls and shelves..and everything in the room...
Awesome!!!!!!!!!
It looks great!
One of my big issues is the lighting. I need to figure out what to do about that. I also hate the plastic colored bins. The one on wheels...they are cheap and ugly but it does hold the cut pieces and makes it easy to get at. My husband says it does not go with the room and I should get rid of it. hmm...need to think of a solution. I love the curtain rods! When I am making a quilt I can put up a flannel piece. I have clip on rings. I have to find out what I did with the other package I bought a while back.

Fantastic room.
Fabulous room - it looks so cosy and inviting. I don't think I would ever want to leave. LOL
What a charming and inviting work space. My favorite is the comfy chair to sit and quilt or have a friend join you in your room to visit and quilt! Or maybe the design wall on the curtain rod idea. Or maybe the sewing machine and table set-up. Hmmm...lots of favorites! Thanks for sharing and the inspiration.

Can you cover plastic bins with material?
Beautiful work space. You will enjoy it.
That is a great idea. I could modge podge it. Its worth a try.

I love your room! It's o homey and inviting!

the chair is a massage chair. I would never buy one that is so low..its was a gift. It is a nice to have but odd that it sits so low to the floor.
Carol, is that a Second Class Crow in the picture frame on the treadle machine? Love your room... sigh. Someday!!!!!!
Love your room but don't think your table needs curtains but again that's your room. Just something else to take care of and have to launder and then you have to shove the curtains out of the way. Sorry!

Love your "L-shaped" table. I covered my table with self stick Velcro on the board, and sew-on Velcro on the fabric. Also made an opening in ea. side that overlaps so I have easier access or can remove a section if need be. Good luck! The curtain hides a lot of clutter. Your sewing space looks great. Enjoy!

Love both of your spaces! As far as the rolling cart with the pullout drawers maybe you could make a cover for it too. Let's see if I can explain it simply. Make it a three sided slip cover that covers the back, both sides and the top. Then have a long flap in the front that extends from the top piece. When you don't want to use the drawers, pull down the flap that covers the front of all of those drawers. You could even put a cute little bow on each side to tie or make a little velcroed flap on each side to keep it shut. When you want to use it, flip up the flap and you can pull out any drawer. You could use some sewing themed fabric and even make the cover to match your skirt for your table. Hope this is clearer than mud!

not sure what a second class crow is...which picture...the boy is noone I know...it came with the frame. I still need another picture. I am going through my old pictures from my grandparents. The bottom right is my great, great grand parents, the one above it is my grandmother and Aunt as a baby.

I"m so disorganized..... sigh.... |
Very nice and cozy. Enjoy your time in it.
there is paint for plastic on the market now.You could buy the color you'd like the multi colored drawers to be and spray them all one color to conform to the room's decor.(?) Just a thought......
What a pretty room. Enjoy.

I tried my hand at modge podge. I finished the spice rack which is now a button holder and started modge podging the plastic rack. I would not recommend buying one of those...I would spend the money on something better - one of my biggest buying expenses.

Love your room! I have a Horizon 7700 and wondering about the table you have yours sitting on. Care to share the brand...also is the insert the one that came with the machine or did you have a custom one made. Thanks in advance for any info you share....
