Sewing Room
I moved my 2 girls into the same room and made a sewing space for me. The basement just wasn't working out. I was using the dining room but would have to pick everything up when I stopped so it was a pain. Especially since I have been picking up jobs for other people now. My LA is still in the basement with mostly all of my fabric stash. But at least now I can work on a project stop and come back to it easily. It also allowed me to get rid of a truck load of kids stuff that has accumulated over the past 6 years.

Same here, my mid-arm and fabric/thread/batting/etc are in the basement, but I sew and embroider on the dining room table. I'm able to leave my project there since we're empty nesters. It works out good that way - I get up and walk off the stiffness when I need something from downstairs.
However, our retirement house in Wyoming is a one story house (ranch with no basement) and everything fits into one big room. Can't wait for the day we can move everything in there! |
Good for you. You will love having your own space.

How nice for you! I am happy that you were able to make the choice, and make the move. :-)

Great space! Is that a 401A that I see?

Good for you! It's probably better of the sisters to have their room togther so they can bond.:) I love the hardwood floors and it looks like you get some good light in there.
