Thanks for the replies! I guess Im going to have to just keep my module in the Tutto. I was looking for something that was a little more organized. Everyone here has inspired me and I am about half way through my stash getting it all wrapped on comic boards.

Usually I will embroider tote bags or makeup cases. Sometimes I will do baby items for people. The last few things I have embroidered were hoodies and free standing lace for bracelets. I also use it to make nice labels for quilts.

I store mine in the tutto - rarely use it. What program do you use for your labels??? Can you show some pictures?

I use the software it came with. Can't justify the $2500 price tag for the nice software. I'll have to figure out how to post pics. I found some cute label designs at Urban Threads. They have a great tutorial there for making the labels on wide ribbon. Those are my face :).

I personally found that I never removed mine from my first sewing/embroidery machine so I just left it on and got another sewing machine. Not helpful, but perhaps that's what you'll end up doing!

Someone here showed a set of drawers from Ikea - believe it was called the Alex - they had it all tricked out for their embroider thread. Got one for my birthday and I use it for all my thread and the the embroidery other supplies, that freed up a couples drawers in the built in to put the unit in one - when I take it off the machine.

I have 2 embroidery units. Keep them covered in pillow cases near the machines.

both of my Husqvarna Designers have cases for the module and the hoops so that is where mine are when not in use.

I have a huge Tutto for my 780 embroidery module . . .it's stored in a closet until needed (which is as little as possible as I'd rather spend my time either piecing or quilting.

I also have a Husqvarna Diamond and leave it in the case most of the time .

I have 2 embroidery machines but only use one for embroidery. I keep the Babylock ready to go and just cover it with some tea towels when not in use to keep any flying threads and dust off and out of it. The Viking is used for piecing so have the embroidery unit in its case under the sewing table sitting up against the wall so I don't kick it. It also helps keep my power foot from moving around under there as I have it up against the case. I keep all my machines covered with tea towels when not in use until I can make them a proper cover with style. Lets face it, the plastic covers that come with our machines have little to be desired but finding the time to make new ones just doesn't ever seem to come around...............some day!!!
