may I ask why you haven't opened that box for 1 1/2yrs? Unless illness or disaster were the culprits, you have a very strong will. Open that box and enjoy yourself...

Just received my Studio today. Wow! I cut a stack of strips in an hour. It would have taken all evening with a rotary cutter. I purchased one of the storage racks, but will need to get more. The dies are larger than I expected. Am getting ready to buy some type of shelving as well. Was thinking of looking at IKEA.

[QUOTE=DonnaC;7772174]I don't have a huge collection of dies (about 25 in total) so I store them in a Sterilite bin with locking sides. I can pick up the bin and move it off my shelf when I want to use them and just lock the top and slide it back in when I'm done. The dies can stand up on end in the bin, which is what is recommended (so the foam doesn't get compressed).

It's similar to these:

Look for these at JoAnns when they have their sales or use your coupons!

Store them like you would your books on a shelf....
