Working With a Triangular Wall Storage Space

I have an upstairs loft with a wall that is at a right angle to another wall with a dormer window, so the roof/ceiling line of the wall is angled, creating a triangular wall space. (I hope that makes sense.) This is also the wall where I have my main storage area. Has anyone seen storage units that might work in a triangular shaped area? I have so little room up there that I want to take advantage of every inch of space that I have. Thanks.

With such a specific shape, I think you might need to custom make it out of wood.

I would agree that with such odd shapes custom would be your best bet that way you can work with them to get exactly what you want. Odd angels are challenging yet bring a lot of charm to a home.

I did a google search "images corner shelving" and found some interesting ideas...https://duckduckgo.com/?q=IMAGES+COR...=v142-1&ia=web Just a starting point for you

I agree with making them shelves from wood and then make canvas storage baskets that will fit your depth and the widths that you need. I am a big believer in using all the space that you can. No cutting off those back corners for me. lol

Some free patterns here to get you started. https://www.allfreesewing.com/Miscel...asket-Patterns

Edited to add: I probably don't need to say this, but the bigger the basket, the heavier it will be when loaded with fabric and the harder to move around.

These are what I was talking about, but without the backing being straight on it. I wouldn't put a back on it, but attach the shelves to the wall to utilize all the space.

I think if you add "dormer" to the link that Julie gave, it will be more in line with what you are looking for.
