Wish we could see a picture.

You have all come up with some very good ideas, thank you so much. The one I saw was like a 3 inch board running up and down, okay vertical on the wall and the slits were cut in it like in the board Nantie showed, but then they were loaded so they were vertical, didn't take up much space because I could put it on a wall that can't be used for anything else. It is a cement chimney that I painted over and sticks too far out for shelving, but I could put rulers up it. I wish I could remember things better. Thanks for everyones help and ideas.

That is really nice, I can see why you love it. It would get my rulers up off of my table too.

I agree- pegboard works great for keeping them handy. I keep all of mine on it.

At an OFFICE SUPPLY STORE, get a desk top file holder. It is a rack with slots keeping numerous files standing up and can hold numerous rulers of different sizes. I use two of them in my sewing room I can easily see what I have and tahey take up less room with none getting lost in the mix.

Here's how I organize my rulers and other quilting things that can be hung up. Sorry I don't have a picture to post here.

He charges $39.95 plus shipping. If you go his web site you can see all the finishes he offers. His work is quality.
