Me too, except I moved it to another room and realize it needs to come back to where it was. So for now nothing is on it and I'm not sure where all the stuff that was on it, is! lol

My hubby got some brass chain with big links and opened up a few into hooks and they all hand on one loop of chain off of a peg from a plate rail he made all around the room.

I have been debating on a pegboard. I think I will use an old frame around the pegboard. I than only need one hole in the wall. Thanks for the ideas!

I bought some of those temporary command hangers and spaced them on my wall according to the space I needed for each ruler. For those rulers that didn't have "holes" I used one of those butterfly clips and clip into the ruler & hang from the clip. I love it, not quie as cluttery as a pegboard.

I use the Command hooks on my wall next to my cutting table. I can remove them when I buy new rulers if needed to make room and rearrange and no holes in my walls. Love them.

My sewing area is in the sunroom which is open to the family room and, therefore, visible to everyone. I try to set things up so that everything looks presentable when I entertain guests without too much fuss.

I, too, use the Command hooks attached to the side of my sewing cabinet, out of sight but close at hand.

Like Pamar, my sewing room is in the smallest bedroom of my small house and the door is usually open, so I also need to keep it presentable. My entire stash, UFOs, and numerous supplies are all in the small 1940s closet to prevent sun damage. I used metal shelves & numerous tension shelves to massively expand the storage inside the closet. My rulers are hung on these purse hangers, they nest together and are only as wide as the rulers and width of the gauge of the wire, once nested. I have rectangular rulers on one, squares on another, wedges on another, add-a-quarters on another, you get it. I also use one to hang my large color wheel and rulers in Ziplocs with the directions. They are really accessible but out of sight when the closet doors are closed. I found them on Amazon and got the idea from a YouTube video on organizing closets.

I got the little stands for pot lids that are plastic with rubberized dividers. I can space them how I like and they
hold the rulers great. Got them at the thrift store much cheaper. I made a kind of pocket for the front one so
it could hold my tiny rulers.

It’s not perfect but it has been helpful. I got file folders and labeled them with description of ruler and who/where ruler came from. File alphabetically. Has helped to have them marked and in one place.
