Default Sewing Room Pictures

I have been meaning to post pictures of my sewing room for awhile. I have been off work this week and am finally getting to it. My husband had most of it done about 3 years ago. He keeps modifying and re-engineering things as time goes. He made the design wall this week.

Special features include a small ironing board that swivels and folds down completely flat at the end of the sewing counter, a pullout counter extenstion to the right of my main machine for pins, scissors, etc.. and a base for my chair to keep me from rolling out of position

Love your room, I would never leave if it was mine! Does your hubby have a brother by any chance...? ;-)

Such a great space. I too have cabinets, upper and base and a long countertop. I share my sewing room with 4 cats and now keep their food, water and rugs on the countertop. One or more likes to play in the water and I have to keep a towel under the water bowl, better on contertop than wood floor.

I share my space with 3 dogs. They were in a lot of the pictures, but they didn't make the final cut. I have an English Pointer, Black Lab mix, and Jack-a-bee (jack russell/beagle). I am always having to step over, go around, or God forbid, get someone to move. My sewing would be lonely w/ out them!

I have 6 machines, but if I had to choose just one, the 7570 would be it. My mom has the 1471 which is one of the earliest versions of this machine. It is 25 or 30 years old and she still loves it.
