This is the view from the door. Currently I am working on a QAYG Christmas quilt. I am hoping to re-organize over Christmas break to make room for my new machine so that I can start using it.

I love seeing these pictures ... but, my room has gone through a major change and really looks pretty bare - now the longarm area is another thing ...

I was hoping to see one that looks as bad as mine, but not yet. I think I will wait until tomorrow!

If I knew how to post pictures of my sewing rooms I would. They are organized construction zones. As I tell my friends and family, if your coming to see me, come on over. If your coming to see my house, make an appointment. My sewing rooms get messy creating, when I am finished with something I straighten it up but I can't remember the last day I didn't sew for at least 2 hours so there is always "construction" going on in one or both of them. Every once in a while I just say to myself, ok clean it up and then jump back into construction.

A couple of weeks ago I was missing some fabric, two 6 yard pieces meant as backing for quilts. I'd been at my daughter's house taking care of grandkids for 6 weeks and doing some sewing there also (not much!). Looked there, had my granddaughter look everywhere, and then my daughter. No luck. I had to have one 6 yard piece and I finally found a piece that "would do" and ordered it, but in the meantime I absolutely went through everything. Took out all my fabrics, refolded, and redid my stacks by color. Went though all my drawers and boxes and bins and made everything absolutely neat. Lables now put on every box and bin. Still couldn't find it. So, new material arrived and I got back into quilting. Quilt almost done. But my quilting room? Oh, my! Everything is out, all over the place (only the things I used, not so much fabric). I always work on two or three things at once and then clean up. Mark me down as #5 in this thread of those of us who can't figure out how to post pictures.

Love your Bernina. :0) Is that a magnetic pin holder? Never have it around your computerized machine...
