Just pulled a quilt off the longarm machine and am so frustrated. The back had a center with a border all the way around - I thought I had it all figured out so there would be a border all the way around once it was quilted, but the bottom of the quilt top came just to the bottom of the interior square ... no border on the bottom.

I am glad this is a 'charity' quilt, but and the recipient will never know it wasn't supposed to be the way it is, but it is so frustrating. I thought I had it all measured out!

The quilt was made of 2" (finished) strips and I had a good time thinking of something different to do in each strip across - did some repeating and used varigated thread.

All in all, I am pleased with the results.

I have one more made from the same pattern to do - will probably wait to do it until next week.

My husband and I are going to take a class on Saturday to learn how to do all the maintenance on my Gammill - looking forward to learning all about it.
