Hope you can help with this....I have a request for a baby blanket and they want double batting with satin blanket binding. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I keep the satin binding even on each side since the sandwiched material and batting are so thick? I have a walking foot and tried it with that but still seems to get off track while sewing the binding on. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help.

I would try the Elmer's Washable School Glue and glue all the layers together.

Hi! Have you tried the narrow (1/4") Steam-a-Seam? I Just started using it when binding my quilts. There probably are Utube videos showing how to use it or maybe the manufacturer. My LA quilter showed me how. Good Luck! quiltcatt
