Default The Gathering of Quilters - Northern Indiana

Upcoming event -

"Please join us on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Warsaw to begin your week before National Quilting Day. We promise to make it a day filled with fun and inspiration." Hosted by Whitley County Country Quilters

Guest speaker is award winning Mary Kerr from Virginia. She intertwines vintage with the art world of quilting. I am sure you will find her lecture “A Hexie Revolution” to be very enriching and fascinating. Preview some of Mary’s work on her website http://www.marywkerr.com/

Pre-registration ends February, 25th and includes lunch.

I say every year that I want to come to this, maybe this will be the year I actually get to go!
Is there a website for the event?

Thanks for posting this. It promises to be a great time. There are over 20 vendors, a quilt show, our speaker will give a presentation and trunk show, plus door prizes, a goody bag, block exchange, etc. Lots of fun for all! If you register ahead of time, you will get a lovely box lunch and goody bag. Those who pay at the door will not receive lunch or bag, since those have to be done ahead of time. It will be in Warsaw, IN. there is also Lowery Sewing Center less than a half mile away, be sure to visit them too!

I enjoy going, it's not a huge event but there are still a number of vendors and the quilts on display have been very good. Every year is a bit different as it is a traveling event that goes from guild to guild. Hope you will consider checking it out!
